Multnomah Historical Association Collections

The collections of the Multnomah Historical Association are housed in the Mary Lyman Becker History Center and currently may be viewed by appointment only. To inquire about the collections or to make an appointment to view the collections please call Charlotte Knox at 503-244-5403.

Volunteers Needed!

Invest your time in artifact or archive collection maintenance through

  • Accessing historic artifacts in the permanent collection
  • Entering collections data information into the MHA collections database
  • Developing oral history programs

Assist Researchers in the Library by

  • Researching genealogical, land use and community history questions
  • Integrating historic maps into the permanent collection
